Flood repairs update
Repairs to the interior are now complete with a waterproof sealer on the floor and a new vinyl covering. On the exterior walls, a waterproof layer has been sprayed onto the lower meter and this has been painted to match the stonework as close as possible. The trench that had been dug around the perimiter of the building has been filled with concrete, which should help to stabilise the foundation as well as preventing water access below grounf. Finishing touches to the resilience works are now being done to fit valves in the drains and upgrade the flood barriers at the front entrance and patio doors.
We are now in a much better position should another flood occur. Let's hope it doesn't happen any time soon!
